We have an SSL certificate installed and other pages we require SSL on load correctly (e.g. Register, Profile).

When "Force SSL at Checkout" is NOT checked, the single page Checkout page loads perfectly.

When "Force SSL at Checkout" is checked and we click "Checkout" from the cart page, it navigates to the checkout but keeps redirecting to itself.

We saw this issue reported a long time ago and resolved, but it's happening to us. We are running Cart Viper v3.2.0 with a license.

Hi Brian,

Can you turn off the "force ssl at checkout" setting, then on the page settings for the page with the Cart viper my account module on it and ensure "secure" is selected. This setting is located in page settings -> advanced -> other settings.

With that combination the checkout should run over https.

Regards
Nigel.

Thanks...that worked. Is there a bug in the Cart Viper code or is the CV Module and DNN fighting back and forth over HTTP vs HTTPS? If it's the latter, could we secure the page AND force SSL? Just curious.

Hi,

The two settings are trying todo the same thing and causing that loop, as long as you have forced ssl via one of these two methods the checkout will run over https ok.

Regards
