Hello. I am evaluating CV (and like it). I installed it on one of our test sites and it worked fine.  I installed on a different site (the real one), and get an error in Firebug (and some functionality does not work).

In the Store Admin, I select Add Category.  In the Name field I enter Boot Camp and hit TAB. On the test site, this cause the SEO URL field to populate with a suggestion. On the real site, nothing happens. I get an error in Firebug Console.

POST http://www.nanotoxacademy.com/DesktopModules/cartviper/CVAjaxHandler.ashx?alias=nanotoxacademy.com 302 Found

This is the Copy Location with Parameters. It looks like the CVAjaxHandler is failing.
http://www.nanotoxacademy.com/DesktopModules/cartviper/CVAjaxHandler.ashx?alias=nanotoxacademy.com&action=admin_category_seo_name_suggestion&categoryName=Boot

The only different I could see between the two sites was the Hosted JQuery.
Test site is using:
http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6.4/jquery.min.js

Production site is using:
http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.2/jquery.min.js

Any thoughts.  I tried to change the hosted JQuery to be the same, but same error.

Thank you.
Gary

Well, I typed a detailed description of further findings, but your session timed me out on the submit and it is lost.  Essentially it boils down that on my production site, the CVAjaxHandler fails all the time, on the test server it works.  I cannot add Events to Categories, cannot add items to the cart, etc.

The sites are both hosted on the same server.  I installed following the instructions with package.

IIS 7.0
DNN 07.00.02 (1)

Happens in FF and IE.  All are up to date. I really need this to work. I like your cart. Am I missing a setting in one of the modules?  I have looked everywhere I can think of.

Gary

Hi,

The reason is we need to have a www. alias defined for the portal Cart viper is installed or you get the 302 redirect when we make an Ajax requests. If you go to host - > portals and select the current nanotoxacademy.com portal to edit.

In the next section go to advanced settings -> portal aliases and enter www.nanotoxacademy.com as your new portal alias and save. Also you need to make this the default alias for the site.

If you have any questions please let us know.
Thanks
Nigel.
