Product detail subtabs containing related products, alternate descriptions, etc. are (occasionally) stretched.

Please see this image: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/20570152/car...

It appears that the code determining the tab height is incorrectly reading the height of the browser. If I shrink the height of the browser, the tab heights shrink too.

This only seems to happen in Firefox v17.0.1 (it does not happen in IE v8.0.6). It also does not happen when the DNN page is in edit mode.

I would appreciate ideas for how I might go about fixing it.

Many thanks.

Hi,

Could you provide the URL of the product details page so I can see the issue? I just checked our site in that version of Firefox and the tabs render as expected so I assume some style from your skin is conflicting with the product tabs CSS.

Thanks
Nigel.

Thanks for the quick reply, Nigel.

The oddity can be seen here: http://www.backyardabundance.org/Serv...

The problem goes away when I put the DNN form into edit mode.

Any advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

If you look in the below CSS file:
http://www.backyardabundance.org/DesktopModules/cartViper/Templates/StyleSheet/Common.css

In the below section, remove the comments from the height section so it looks like the below in bold:

ul.tabs li {
float: left;
margin: 0;
padding: 0px !important;
height: 31px !important;
/*line-height: 31px; --Vertically aligns the text within the tab--*/
border: 1px solid #999;
border-left: none;
margin-bottom: -1px; /*--Pull the list item down 1px--*/
/*overflow: hidden;
position: relative; --this is turned off so the DNN menu bar doesnt get under the tab*/
background: #e0e0e0;
background-image: none !important;
list-style-type:none;
}
