Hello..
We’re having an issue where a person is trying to fill in their billing e-mail address and it’s reporting that their e-mail address is invalid.  Their e-mail address (edited) is: mXXe.1X3.yXXXg@gmail.com.

Is this a Cart Viper or DNN/Evoq issue?

I ran the DNN/Evoq email validator within the site settings in a RegEx tester against the above e-mail address and it came back as a match.

Any ideas? Thank you for your time and attention.. –Jeff

Hi Jeff,

To confirm a customer is entering an email address in the below format on the Cart Viper checkout page and we won't let them proceed as we are displaying our invalid email warning message?

I've tried the email you provided in each of our checkout pages and it let me proceed ok, we are using the standard regular expression that .net provide so if its a valid email it should go through. That being said can you upgrade to the latest version of Cart Viper, if the issue still persists can you email me the URL of your store and the actual email address that is getting rejected so I can view the issue? nigel@cartviper.com
