DNN 7.4.2
CV 3.5.11

I have the Cart Viper Catalog module installed on my hope page with "none" selected to be shown so it is effectively a search tool.

The first time I visit the site, entering a search term results in a postback to the home page like this:

http://mysite.com/Default.aspx?tabid=56SearchValue=xxxxxxx

So, the "&" that should be between the two querystring variable is missing.

If I go to another page, and click Home to return, then then next search is:

http://mysite.com/Home.aspx?SearchValue=xxxxxx

and this works just fine because the page name is used, and there is only one querystring variable.

Am I missing a quick and easy fix for this?

Hi Joe,

I tried this on my test site and it worked ok, it seems odd you are getting the old fashioned DNN URL's with the tab ID included in a relatively new version of DNN.

Can you confirm you're using the "DNNFriendlyUrl" URL provider and that if you look in the web.config the urlFormat paramater is set to advanced, see below:

 <add name="DNNFriendlyUrl" type="DotNetNuke.Services.Url.FriendlyUrl.DNNFriendlyUrlProvider, DotNetNuke.HttpModules" includePageName="true" regexMatch="[^a-zA-Z0-9 _-]" urlFormat="advanced" />

Nigel,

urlFormat is set to humanfriendly.

THe client will be updating his system today to add the url rewrite module to IIS and then we'll change.

(After posting my request, I got to thinking about urls, and went back to read about the current options.  This occurred recently as we updated DNN to 7.x only last month.  So ... hopefully this one will be fixed quickly.)

Thanks, again!
