Hello and thank you for your help in advance,

We are currently running CV 3.3.0j and are experiencing an exception after adding an item to cart.
I have noticed that after adding an item to cart and viewing cart there is no shipping info - this is where the exception is generated I believe.  I also don't know if after upgrading our TLS caused this issue.  We upgraded from TLS 2 to TLS 2.1 a while back.  We also upgraded our security certificate also.
Could you please give some direction on this.
The exception is as follows:

Hi

You need to download and install the latest version of Cart Viper 3.5.0 from the free trial page.

UPS have changed their server to only support TLS1.2. This is also a change which Paypal will be making in June 2016 so we have added support for this in version 3.5.
In order to support TLS 1.2 the module is now compiled against .net 4.5.1 framework.

Regards

Mark

Does that mean our site(IIS apppool) needs to be running 4.5.1?
In order to run 3.5?

We are running dnn 7.2.1 - will .net 4.0.
Think if we make our app pool 4.5.1 the site will break - won't it?
Not to mention our modules on the site.
Do you have anything that will support this under net4?

There isn't a 4.5.1 app pool, since its major release number is 4.x it is still listed in iis as 4.0. So I dont think the app pool will be an issue.

The issue is TLS 1.2 is only supported in 4.5 or greater. So we have no choice if you want to work with UPS and Paypal and possibly other services as they turn off weaker SSL protocols.
We are forced to move to that framework, .net 4.5.1 was released in 2013 so its pretty old and should be installed on most servers already. If not its a simple install.

I don't think it will have any effect on other modules.
