I'm having issues with emails not being sent to the customer and to the internal based notification address.  I've done the 2 types of transactions I am testing:  1) Pay offline; and 2) Pay with PayPal (and I actually did real transactions of $1.00 each during testing -- live environment, not sandbox).  No emails are sent.  I see multiple items in my event viewer, presumably from my testing.  I've tried 4-page, 3-page, and single page checkouts.  Below is one of the event viewer details......Sure would appreciate any help here.  FYI:  Using the trial version right now -- really hoping I can get this working.

Hi Carl,

The issue is with your SMTP settings not Cart Viper, to send emails Cart Viper uses the SMTP settings defined in host -> host settings -> advanced settings -> smtp.
If you go to this menu and click "test smtp settings" do you get the email?

I would suggest contacting your hosting provider and show them the error message you are receiving and they will be able to solve this for you.

Yes, we get the test email (to our junk folder).  I can "request a quote" through the ajax form and I get that email.  But when a purchase is made, no email.  I'll have my IT guy look over all the settings again.  I must be missing something (sigh).

Hi

The issue is your SMTP server would reply for the store admin email address you have defined. I would suggest you use something like sendgrid.com as you SMTP server.

Its not an issue with Cart Viper is how you are attempting to relaying.
