Hi, I need some help about shipping,

I want to create different rules based on the weight and the state in Australia.

Could you please through this small example, help me to set it up.

Example - 2 rules

For 0 to 1 kg for Sydney (zip code: 2000): 5 AUD

For 0 to 1 kg for Perth (sip code: 6000): 10 AUD

How I do that.

Regards.

Antoine.

Hi,

We don't have the ability to charge shipping by Australian state and our standard zipcode shipping just charges a flat rate based on postcode and does not take into account the weight of the cart.

You could select the "Australian Post" shipping provider and once you sign up for an account with them https://id.auspost.com.au you should be able to get more accurate rates based on the customer location in Australia.

Thanks
Nigel.

Hi,

OK, so I assume it is not possible to create different rules inside a same country according the cart weight whatever the country.

Do you plan to allow it in the futur? Do you have this request from others customers sometimes?

Is there a way to import Shipping rules or I need to manually create them one by one through the admin panel.

Thanks by advance.

Regards.

Antoine.

Hi,

We only support creating different rules inside the same country for USA, it's not something we plan on adding as there are simply so many different countries and regions within them that we would need to support. If you are wanting different rates based on region / weight we suggest using one of the other shipping providers e.g. FedEx, USP or Australian post, as these should give accurate rates based on the weight and delivery distance.

We don't support importing them, however if you do not wish to add them directly through the admin UI you could always write an SQL statement to insert them directly into the table CVStore_ShippingRates

Thanks
Nigel.

Hi,

I am still setting up the shipping.

I want to use the "Restrict Shipping" option, but I do not understand what I must fill. In the pdf documentation the example is

e.g. 891;100;5600

and near the input box it is CA1;CA2;CA3

I tried to fill with all country ISO code AF;AL;DZ;AS;AD... except AU but there is no effect on the countries dropdownlist on the checkout process.

Thank by advance.

Antoine.
