I am trialling Cart Viper, and first impressions are that it's a fantastic product that will do exactly what I want.

A colleague and I have started a record label, and we are shortly to release our first title.  As well as a physical CD, we will be offering the release as a download in various formats:

24-bit 192KHz (.flac)
24-bit 192KHz (.alac)
24-bit 192KHz (.wav)
24-bit 96KHz (.flac)
24-bit 96KHz (.alac)
24-bit 96KHz (.wav)
plus the same 3 flavours for 24-bit 48KHz,
and again 3 flavours for 16-bit 44.1KHz
and finally a 320K .mp3.

Really I would like to present these in a similar way to that found on www.vivatmusic.com, also offering the tracks as separate downloads as well as the complete album.

What would be the best way to present these to customers please?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Although in Cart viper a product can have a physical and downloadable part as your example shows they can't be sold separately. For example if you bought the physical product you would also get the tracks to download. You would have to add them as separate products, in the same way Cart viper products can have multiple downloads however they cant be sold separately so the tracks that make up the album would need to be entered as individual products if you wanted to sell them separately. You could then look to make a "discount bundle" so all the tracks could be added to the cart in a single click.

If you wanted we could provide a quote to make Cart viper function more like your example site, if you would like to email me we can discuss this further: nigel@cartviper.com

Thanks
Nigel.
