How can I configure CartViper to simply return to the storefront from PayPal without modifying the cart or order when "Cancel and return" is clicked?

When arriving at PayPal to make a payment, if the "Cancel and return" link is clicked, the purchaser is returned to the storefront, the order is cancelled, and their cart is emptied. At payment time, the purchaser may decide to modify their cart. This cancellation interaction is problematic and unexpected: purchasers should not need to re-populate a cart simply because they cancelled at the last step in the payment process.

Hi,

I am afraid we cant change that due to the way Cart viper works when they user leaves the Cart viper site to then complete the order at Paypal we convert the cart to an order with a status of "processing" and delete the cart contents. If payment is then taken we then update the order status accordingly.

I think this is pretty significant issue that should be fixed. With a single click in PayPal, a person can unexpectedly empty their cart and cancel their order.

Customers visiting my storefront add 5-20 items to their cart in a visit. To have all that wiped out because they decide to change their order at the last minute has a very real potential to decrease sales and satisfaction. No other eCommerce site I know of empties the cart simply because the customer wants to change their order at payment time.

I will add this as a feature request and I sincerely hope it is fixed soon.
