Hello.. I have an item and it's price is $20.00.  I have a variants to add a couple years to the license; e.g. three and five year.  For the three year, it's an additional $40 (total $60) and for the five year, it's an additional $80 (total $100).

If I add a promotion for 50% off for a certain amount of time, it takes off from the main price and not the subtotal price; so for the three year, the sub-total price is $50 instead of $30.

How do I accomplish this promotional price so it takes off 50% for the subtotal?

Hi Jeff,

Yes thats a bug a promotion only discounts the base product price and not the price adjustment for variants, I will make a ticket to fix this in the next release. In the mean time you could create a coupon that has a 50% discount and if a customer used this code it would discount the entire subtotal by 50%, with the coupon you can specify a start and end date.
