Hi. We use the Events piece of CV (mainly). It would be nice if the Event Dates showed in the list of Products as the user is browsing the list. Also, the number of seats remaining. I cheated and copied the [EVENTDATES] from the ProductDetail to the ProductList, adding it just under the [SUMMARY]. Sort of works, but shows the radio button.

Also, I cannot figure out how the nix the H3 tag. I don't want that being an H3 tag. If I change the H3 in my site CSS, it looks good here, but messes it up in other areas of the site. I would suggest giving most elements there own CSS so that they can be displayed/modified via CSS by the User with having to alter templates much.

This also means I have to be really careful with templates and updates so I don't nuke these changes.

Thanks.

Hi Gary,

Any token that is supported in ProductDetail.htm is also supported in ProductList.htm, if an event is a recurring event that token will output all future events in a radio button list, however if there is only a single date it will just output that date as a label.

You will be able to get the number of places left by using the token [NUMBERINSTOCK] you may want to alter the wording, the wording is located in productdetail.ascx.resx , I would advise reading the below blog post before changing the resource file:
http://blog.cartviper.com/post/2011/0...

You can just use the below CSS so it will only apply to the h3 tags inside the container Cart viper uses for its products so it will leave your standard h3 styles untouched:

.StoreDetailContainer h3{
color:red;
}

If you use the "portal templates" feature any templates / css files you change will not be overwritten during an upgrade, page 7 covers this in more detail:

Thanks
Nigel.
