Hello,

When I set up "Qty restriction" to 6-10 there is no more way to choose quantity on product detail and when I set up with 6;8;10 for example, I have a drop down list with only selectable value "0".

I had the issue with CartViper 3.1.0, and I still have it with 3.2.1.

Please let me know if I did something wrong.

Best.

Antoine Laplante.

Hi,

The behavior you are seeing when you enter a qty restriction is correct, this feature allows you to determine what quantity the product can be purchased in. So to allow this we hide the qty textbox (so the customer cant enter in any qty they wish) and replace it with a dropdown list with the values you have entered.

So you can enter a range of numbers e.g. 6-10 , this would result in a dropdown list with the values 6,7,8,9 and 10.

The reason you are getting a dropdown with 0 in it when you enter 6;8;10 is that the values need to be comma separated e.g. 6,8,10 this would results in a dropdown list with the values 6 , 8 and 10.

Regards

Hi,

 Thanks for your reply.

If I enter the range 6-10 for example or a list 6,8,10 there is nothing for quantity field no drop down list no input field.

It is possible there is an issue with this feature.

Best.

Hi,

I have this setup on my test site and it works as expected, the feature does take into account the products stock levels. Is the product you have set this up in stock and has at least 6 items in stock ? You will be able to check this by going to the product edits page and under "Stock management" checking the number in "quantity".

If this does not help can you send me an admin username / password and the URL of the product you have set this up on? nigel@cartviper.com

Regards

Hi,

Sorry, yes it works fine. The stock was less than the minimal quantity restriction I set up. Thanks for your reply.

Regards.
