I have a DNN site in which people can order digital music downloads. I'm using the Digital Download Locker feature of Cart Viper to implement this. Does anyone know of a customisable download manager that people can use to manage their purchased downloads, similar to those available on sites such as linnrecords.com, theclassicalshop.net etc?

Hi Mark,

We dont support changing the download manager to a 3rd party one, I am not familiar with those sites. Can you let me know what functionality they have that Cart viper does not support, perhaps we could add it in?

Hi Nigel

Basically, the download managers group your purchased items together in a window where you can download all purchases at once (by clicking a 'Download All' button or similar) rather than having to click each item separately.

The way I've got things set up at present is that a purchaser can click on the album title to buy as a complete unit.  This album has 18 tracks, so at present each file would need to be clicked on in the present download locker.  What would be ideal is that they are all grouped, so that the user chooses the location to store the files, which are then downloaded by clicking once.

I know I could bundle all into a zip file, but as the high resolution download is well over a gig in size, this would not be a good option for those on slower connections should it fail mid-stream.

I hope I've explained this well - I can always PM you with some screenshots to explain if this is helpful.
