Hello,

We upgraded to DNN 7.1.2 and noticed once the unregistered user checks out of the our CartViper store , the last pages displays a Thank you note with an option to Create New User Account. Screen shot below.

I would like this link to create new user be turned off. Please help.

Hi,

From your site you are using the 3 step checkout, so you will need to modify the below file:

DesktopModules\cartviper\App_LocalResources\ThreeStepCheckout.ascx.resx

Look for the key lblCreateAccount.Text and in its corresponding value add in the sections in bold:

<div style="display:none"><br >Click <a href='{0}'>here</a> to create a new user account.</div>

Before changing the resource file I would recommend following this blog post:

Hello Nigel.

I made the change to file as you mentioned. But I am having issues:

1. Previous and Next button in Billing Address screen and the CreditCard entry screen disappeared , instead it shows a two blank buttons, which are clickable.

2. After CreditCard entry and clicking the right button ( which is supposed to be "Place order" button, i think) I get an error in the next screen as 

SID, the Society for Information Display > Publications > FixBookstore > My Orders I also renamed the file to  ThreeStepCheckout.ascx.Portal-2.resx. to avoid overwrite in future upgrades. This store is in Portal 2.Here is the section I changed in file:

 <data name="lblCreateAccount.Text" xml:space="preserve">

    <!--

     <value>&lt;br &gt;Click &lt;a href='{0}'&gt;here&lt;/a&gt; to create a new user account.</value>

     -->

  

    <value>

I also tried keeping the file name same as  ThreeStepCheckout.ascx.resx, with the above changes tp the script , I get the same 2 errors I mentioned above.
