Hi, 
 i'm working whit variant and stock, when a stock quantity for a variant is set to 0 it still displayed in the article details and can be added to cart and order whitout any sort of lock or advise.
Mine confiiguration is in foult or there is some settings i don't use to prevent this thing?

Hi,

In the store admin -> store info can you check the setting "product behavior" it should be any option other than "accept order if product is out of stock" if you want the stock quantity to be validated when a customer adds the item to the cart.

Hi Nigel, the "product behavior" settings is "hide quantity links and btton" but also whit "hide product" is the same, the strange thing is when i duplicate the order under the "order history", the check for the variant quantity is make and it show me the message "We do not have enough items in stock for this combination of product variants".

Hi,

I just tried this on my development machine and the variant quantity was correctly validated and I could not add the item to the cart. Can you confirm what version of Cart Viper you are running, could you send me an admin username / password along with the URL of the product in question so I can take a look? nigel@cartviper.com
