I'm having an issue with the Product Widget Control and the Recently Viewed Items Module (same issue).

I am using the responsive templates. I asked for 25 random products using the carousel. All of CV shows in the center part of the screen, but the items in this control go all the way to the edge of the screen. Is that by design? If I scroll the items, they go off the left side of the screen also. I would have expected them to stay within the box (with the arrows) in the center. Also, this box is quite small (room for 2 1/2 items) and I don't see how to expand it.

And, one more question - is there a way to make the items scroll on a timer, like sliders?

 Thanks!

Alex

Hi,

The carousel should work as per the below:
http://www.cartviper.com/demo/product-widget

However checking our demo site I noticed a bug in the CSS as you mention below so if you download and use the below CSS file it should correct the issue:

http://www.cartviper.com/desktopmodules/cartviper/templates/stylesheet/carousel.css

Note the CSS file will need to either be placed in the "portal templates" folder or the standard desktopmodules/cartviper/templates/stylesheet folder based on whether you are using "portal templates", please consult our user guide for more info.

No we don't support putting the carousel on a timer.

Thanks
Nigel.

Hello Nigel, thanks for the prompt response, as usual!

I applied the css you sent me but it didn't fix it.

So I finally figured out how to see it in Firebug, and unless I am doing something wrong, it appears that carousel.css is being pulled from the normal templates, not the responsive. The other css files are being pulled from the portal responsive templates, so I think my settings are correct.

I was going to attach a screenshot but I don't know how to do that (the paperclip takes me to the image manager - I don't think you want me to do that?).

In any case, you can log in if you need with the login you have for me.

Thanks!

Alex

Hi Alex,

Yes that was a bug we were not pulling the carousel.css file from the correct template location, if you download and install the latest version it should correct the issue. Note the build number is the same so select "repair install" when prompted by dnn:
