Hi team,

Is there a template which controls the Request for quote email? (non modal popup version obviously) or any way to edit the layout of the RFQ email?

Hi Charles,

The RFQ email template is quite basic all the tokens we support are used in the default template. The template is made up of 2 parts and they are located in SharedResources.resx

RequestForQuoteEmailTemplate.Text

and

RequestForQuoteEmailItemTemplate.Text

Hey Nigel,

Sorry one other question, which resource file controls how the RFQ at checkout displays? I had a look through the usual suspects but couldn't seem to find it

Is it possible to tweak this to make the phone number field required?

Hi Charles,

The RFQ cart is controlled via:

DesktopModules\cartviper\QuoteCart.ascx

If you add in the below required field validator to the ascx file it should make the phone number a required field:

<asp:RequiredFieldValidator ID="RequiredFieldValidator1" runat="server" ControlToValidate="txtPhone" ErrorMessage="Phone is required" Display="Dynamic"></asp:RequiredFieldValidator>
