Hi,
How to edit html output of cartviper and other modules..
Basically it outputs html where i want to customize such as to create the menu in just ul and li there shouldn't be any divs and extra stuff..

Hi

On the store admin menu we have a menu item which allows you to edit the templates online. The user manual has more information about the templates and various tokens which we support.

Thanks for the reply Mark,
But here the problem is if i use a token then some of the tokens directly outputs a html. This is where i need help in customizing those automatically generated html. Right now i am using razor modules and created our own module for displaying category menu by calling CategoryController methods. But if there is any easier way to do it..

Hi,

Its a limitation of our template system that some on the tokens output html as well as the actual data. Making your own modules by referencing our .dll's is one option, you could also look to use jQuery to read the data from our tokens and then inject into your own layout. The route you are going down is probably the easiest, we are looking to address this limitation in future versions.

I will try to put some example code so that it will help others who are looking for the same..
Between yeah its a lot easier in creating razor modules as i don't have to care about all the logic i.e. behind the action methods and i get the data in models which is perfect..
