Is their a module to greet the payment gateway after it has completed a payment outside the dnn site? Otherwise how is this achieved?

Also after the transaction has complete and the user has been returned to the dnn site and cartviper, i find that confirmation email have been set up but are not being sent?

Thanks

James

Hi James,

I assume you are using a payment gateway that redirects the customer away from your site to pay and returns them once this is complete (PayPal web payments standard, etc). The module that handles updating the order status when payment is taken is the "Cart Viper my account" module. Only when we receive a response from the payment gateway stating payment has been taken do we mark the order paid and send the confirmation email, etc, it sounds like this is not happening.

The most obvious thing to check is the page with the above module can be accessed without first logging into your dnn site. If that is not the issue please email me an admin username / password along with the url of your store and I will take a look? nigel@cartviper.com

Regards
Nigel.

Hi, after reading your reply, I realise that the issue involved changing my payment gateway's post transaction URL redirection to the correct page.

Now that it returns me to the my account module within my website, It only shows me three buttons- previous, retry and a blank button, rather than any post payment information. Also it still doesn't send any confirmation emails.

Am i missing something regarding the configuration of the Cart Viper account module.

Thanks,

James

Hi,

Which payment gateway are you using? Depending on which one you are using there may be some config you would have to complete at the merchant account, however we supply all return url's etc so you should not need to work these out for yourselves.

Only once Cart Viper confirms with your payment gateway that payment has been taken do we update the order status, send emails etc , it sounds like this is not happening. If you email me an admin username / password along with the URL of your store I will take a look? nigel@cartviper.com

Regards
