We use authorize.net as our payment gateway and do not take discover card, however, it is showing up as a valid cc type on our checkout page. How do I remove it from the list?

Thanks,.

Hi Scott,

Yes it is possible to remove this from the card type dropdown list, however the below method will only work on the singlepage checkout style. You need to copy the below sql and paste it into host -> sql menu and change the portal ID (highlighted in bold) to be the portal ID that the store is located in. Also ensure "execute as script" is selected before you run the sql, once it has run you will need to go to host -> host settings and select "restart application" so our cache is cleared:

declare @portalId int

set @portalId = 2

if not exists(select null from {databaseOwner}[{objectQualifier}CVStore_StoreAttributes]

where parentId = @portalId and name = 'CV_STORE_ACCEPT_DISCOVER')

begin

insert into {databaseOwner}[{objectQualifier}CVStore_StoreAttributes]

(parentId,name,value) values(@portalId, 'CV_STORE_ACCEPT_DISCOVER', 'False')

end
