Hi there, I've mostly got my trial shopping cart working, but when I tried to test it by checking out using PayPal, I got this error:

"We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller. Please contact the seller to resolve the problem. If this payment is for an eBay listing, you can contact the seller via the "Ask Seller a Question" link on the listing page. When you have the correct email address, payment can be made at www.paypal.com."

I double and triple checked that I had put the right Paypal email in for the seller under Store Info, and I copied and pasted the ID and Merchant number from their Paypal account. Any idea what might be going wrong?

Edited: I figured it out. There is a field for "PayPal ID" on the Payment page, and the tooltip says this is your user name. That's where I hadn't entered the email address—because I entered the user name.

Hi,

I take it you are wanting to use PayPal web payments standard? You would go to store admin -> payments admin and select "accept PayPal payment", the field PayPal ID is where you would enter your PayPal username, is this how you have setup your site? If so and you still get that error can you send me an admin username / password along with the url of the store I will take a look, nigel@cartviper.com ?
