Hi, we're just checking through our pages with the store modules on it and have come across some issues when trying to validate against the W3C XHTML validator.

When using the Product Widget, it places some css inside a span for the ieFixup, i think this fails due to it being within a span rather than a div.

Also, on the main catalog page, for each product entry, it's placing this same CSS code but for every entry which is bloating the code. Could this not just be included once somewhere to reduce the overhead? It also adds some jQuery code for each entry which appears to be the same, can the same be done with this?

One last thing, the javascript within the page throws up some warnings which might be due to there not being any
//<![CDATA[
//]]>

around the script.

Thanks

Hi

These issues should be pretty trivial for us to fix, I'm going to log these items to our ticket system.
We'll then take a look at this ticket.

What web browser are you using which throws the javascript errors?

Regards

Mark

Hi Mark, sorry i should have been more explicit about the JS issue. The W3C validator was showing up some warning about the use of && in the javascript logic and i can only assume this is because the validator is reading the JS rather than ignoring it which i assume the CDATA markup solves.

Hi Dan

Just to let you know I've fixed the issues you reported above and these have now be committed to the trunk.

The next release of Cart Viper will contain these fixes. I think we could release an interim release 1.1.3 in the next couple of days. We are currently working on the roadmap for 1.2 so dont want that to delay the release of these fixes until we complete 1.2.

Thanks again for providing feedback.

Regards

Mark
