Hello and thank you for your support in advance,

We are currently using the single page checkout feature and I have added a DNN custom field to our registration.  Under account settings I added Checkout custom field 1 for our property.

It addes the field fine and auto populated the field with no issues.  But on our orders page if you view PDF of order it will not show up where we want it too.  So we have added [COMPANYNAME] to the UIShippingaddresslayout.htm like so:

[FIRSTNAME] [SURNAME]<br />

[COMPANYNAME]<br />

[ADDRESS1]<br />

[ADDRESS2]<br />

[CITY], [REGION] [ZIPCODE]<br />

[COUNTRY]<br />

[PHONENUMBER]

But it not show up where we want it to.

In fact we would like it on both the Shipping and Billing addresses on the PDF.

Any suggestions?

UIBillingAddressLayout.htm and UIShippingAddressLayout.htm can be used to format the billing and shipping address layouts in both the emails and pdf's, however in order to use this feature you need to go to store admin -> store info -> general settings and select "use custom address layout".

Once that is selected those templates should be used, you can also output the custom checkout field you mention in these templates via the token:

[CUSTOMFIELD1]

Regards

Hello Nigel,

I tried what you said about setting - but it made no difference.  And using the other token.

I suppose it is working on your end?

Hi,

Yes I just tried it using "portal responsive templates" and "portal templates original" and it worked as expected , in formatting the address in the order details page, pdf and emails (only works in full html emails).

As giving an admin username / password is a stumbling block for you guys, I can only suggest double checking you are modifying the correct template based on whether you are using "portal templates" and "original" or "responsive" settings.

As you will appreciate every DNN installation is different and CV has a number of settings that mean things may work slightly different in your environment based on your configuration and without actually seeing the issue we are limited in our support capability.

Regards

Hello Nigel,

OK - this might be a dumb question but I gotta ask it.

If you specify that you are going to use a "custom" template for this - where do you specify which one you would like to use?

Do you have to rename it to something?  Or do you just change the original one - to something you like better?  What was the name of your custom registration property in DNN?
