Hi,
I have two questions:
1) in ProductDetail.htm and ProductList.htm: if I click on "add to wishlist" and I don't reload the page and click again on "add to wishlist", it keeps on creating new wishlists for the same product! Only after I reload the page and click again it tells me that the product is already in the wishlist. Is there a way to return the id of the wishlist created? So in DisplayAddToWishlistNotification I can update the javascript on anchor.
2) Can I know if one product is at least in one wishlist?

Thanks Daniele

Hi,

1) If you download and install the latest version we will return the ID of the wishlist the product was added to:

http://www.cartviper.com/free-trial

So you should be able to get the wishlist ID like the below:

function DisplayAddToWishlistNotification(success, data){

    if (success) {
        var id = data.wishListId;
        DisplayModal('<i class="icon-shopping-cart"></i>', data.message,success);
     }
     else{
       DisplayModal('<i class="icon-exclamation-sign"></i>', data.message,success);
      }
}

2) We don't have a method for that, however you could do it using the below C# code:

            foreach (var wishlist in PublicPrivateWishlist.UserWishLists(PortalId))
            {
                foreach (var product in wishlist.GetAllProductsInTheList())
                {
                    if (product.ProductId == 1)
                    {
//product with ID 1 is in the wishlist.
                    }
                }
           }

I tried to create [RAZOR:ProductInWL.cshtml] to have a specific class that tells me if a product is or isn't in a wishlist.

The code for ProductInWL.cshtml is:

@using System.Dynamic;
@using CartViper.Modules.Store.Catalog;
@using CartViper.Modules.Store.Catalog.Templates;
@using DotNetNuke.Common;
@using CartViper.Modules.Store.Admin;
@using CartViper.Modules.Store.WebControls;
@using System.Web.UI.HtmlControls;
@using CartViper.Modules.Store.Extensions;
@using System.Linq;

@inherits DotNetNuke.Web.Razor.DotNetNukeWebPage

@{
    var presente = "fa-heart-o";
foreach (var wishlist in PublicPrivateWishlist.UserWishLists(Dnn.Portal.PortalId))
            {
                foreach (var product in wishlist.GetAllProductsInTheList())
                {
                    if (product.ProductId == Model.Product.ProductId)
                    {
//product with ID 1 is in the wishlist..
presente = "fa-heart";
                    }
                }
           }
@presente

}

But i have this error:

Message:'System.Dynamic.ExpandoObject' does not contain a definition for 'PublicPrivateWishlist'

The below should work, it was missing a using statement and one of the properties was incorrectly typo:

@using System.Dynamic;
@using CartViper.Modules.Store.Catalog;
@using CartViper.Modules.Store.Catalog.Templates;
@using DotNetNuke.Common;
@using CartViper.Modules.Store.Admin;
@using CartViper.Modules.Store.WebControls;
@using System.Web.UI.HtmlControls;
@using CartViper.Modules.Store.Extensions;
@using System.Linq;
@using CartViper.Modules.Store.UserProductList;

@inherits DotNetNuke.Web.Razor.DotNetNukeWebPage<dynamic>

@{
    var presente = "fa-heart-o";
foreach (var wishlist in PublicPrivateWishlist.UserWishLists(Dnn.Portal.PortalId))
            {
                foreach (var product in wishlist.GetAllProductsInTheList())
                {
                    if (product.ProductId == Model.Product.ProductID)
                    {
//product with ID 1 is in the wishlist..
presente = "fa-heart";
                    }
                }
           }
@presente

}
