I'm sorry I'm newer to CV and the search for this forum is difficult to find help on this. (I'm SURE it has to be posted somewhere tho!)

How can I add Tokens to the orderDetailsConfirmEmail.htm template? Specifically, I have events as well as products, so I need something like [EVENTSUMMARY] or [EVENTDATES] because many of these event names (ITEMNAME actually) are the same name. They are the same class offered on a different date.

Page 156 - 160 of the user guide covers the order confirmation emails and the tokens that they support:

http://www.cartviper.com/portals/0/userguide.pdf

The ones you mention are not supported, however we should automatically output the event date that the customer selected alongside the event name in the line items table.

All our templates do support Razor scripts, so if you're familiar with these you could write one that could access the event and then output the summary (or any other info that is stored against the product).

That's the page I was on.

You said "in the line items table" but I'm confused about where this is exactly?
Which token that is automatically included has the event date in it? Is it [ITEMNAME]? The email that is sent does not contain event dates at all. That's why I needed to update the template.

I don't know Razor but I'm researching it as it looks pretty straightforward. But if this is already supposed to be included I wanted to know where exactly because I'm not seeing, sorry!

The order confirmation email is made up of 2 templates:

orderConfirmEmail.htm - header and footer of the email.
orderDetailsConfirmEmail.htm - gets repeated for each line item.

orderDetailsConfirmEmail.htm is what I meant by the line items and where the actual product data is outputted. The event date is included in the token [VARIANTS] , below is a sample of the email I got when I purchased an event.

That would work but it's not working for me for some reason.
Here's my template:

So I "order" this event:

etc

And here's the resulting email:
