I'm getting an "unknown order/1/r/" error in the Barclays ePDQ back end, as, for some reason, the payment amount is not being passed on from CartViper to the ePDQ payment page.

Is anyone able to advise on how to fix this error please?

Many thanks.

Hi Mark,

Looking through Barclay's user guide they list the below as the cause for that error:

This error means that the referrer we detected is not a URL the merchant has entered in the URL
field in the “Data and origin verification” tab, “Checks for e-Commerce” section of his Technical
Information page. The merchant is sending us the form with the hidden fields containing the order
information from a different page from the one(s) entered in the URL field in the “Data and origin
verification” tab, “Checks for e-Commerce” section.

Are you running your site on multiple URL's are they all entered as described above in your Barclay's merchant account?

Regards

Hi Nigel

As far as I can see, the page I've linked in the ePDQ backend is the same as that on the site:  http://willowhaynerecords.com/My-Account/PageID/SinglePageCheckout, so I'm not quite sure what's going on here at the moment!

Hi Mark,

Looking through the emails you sent me over the last month, you were restoring the site from fresh onto a .co.uk domain then moving it to a .com . Was this working ok on the .co.uk domain and you have just started getting the issue now on the .com ?

I thought this issue may be that as the orders on your site will start again at 1000 , Barclay's would not like the fact you were sending orders with the same ID as you have previously used so I reseeded the orders to a higher number, but this did not resolve the the issue.

If you remove that URL from the Barclay's merchant account does the order go through, I read that if no URL is entered then no verification is performed? If that does not resolve the issue can you make a help ticket with Barclays so they can confirm why they are giving that error message, as the info they give in the user guide is all they provide for this.

Regards
Nigel.

I only started to re-integrate the payment side back on the .com domain, so I hadn't placed any orders through on the .co.uk one.

Removing the URL at the Barclays end results in the order going through .  I'll keep an eye on things to make sure this continues to happen.

Thanks for your help, Nigel.

Nigel.
