Hi,

When we select free shipping on a product the delivery address option disappears at checkout and only presents the invoice address.

We are using single page checkout.

We need both the delivery and invoice address on products with free shipping can you help me fix?

Thanks
Greg

Hi Greg,

Its purposely implemented that way as the overwhelming feedback we had was that if the cart only contained free to ship products, digital downloads or events the shipping address was seen as an additional barrier to purchase and should be hidden in these circumstances.

There are a couple of options though:

1) Change to the 4 step checkout, we will still allow the user to enter a shipping address address provided the "express checkout" setting in the Cart Viper my account module is not enabled.

2) Can you change how the free shipping is being defined so its not at the product level?

e.g. are all your products free to ship? If so going to store admin -> shipping and defining a rule to give free shipping this way rather than at a product level would still output the shipping address on the single page.

If its just specific products why not create a new category "free shipping" then create a free shipping coupon specifically for that category and let your users use that coupon code to get their free shipping for these products. Or create a mix and match discount that would give free shipping to these special products.

Hi Nigel,

We have a mixture of free and chargeable shipping. We have shipping wight bands as some items are heavy and need to be paid for.

Most of the customers on this particular site have a separate invoice address form shipping address and we take a lot of orders on behalf of customers that need both invoice and shipping address to be different.

Is there anything we can do to customise this installation to allow the functionality back in on the single page checkout and if so could you provide a quote for work?

Thanks
Greg
